PSG bounces back from Rennes defeat with a convincing victory over Lyon
In the highly anticipated Ligue 1 clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais, Lionel Messi once again showed his star power, leading his side to a 4-1 victory.

Although Lyon did manage to score a consolation goal through Guimaraes, PSG remained in control throughout the game, ultimately earning a 4-1 win.

The future of Lionel Messi at PSG remains uncertain
While Messi has been in exceptional form for PSG this season, with a total of 29 goals scored for his current team since joining them in the summer of 2021 from Barcelona FC, his future at the Parisian club remains uncertain. His contract is set to expire at the end of June this year, and discussions over a possible extension have been ongoing for months.
Despite this uncertainty surrounding his future, Messi has continued to perform at an outstanding level for PSG. With his next performance just around the corner, fans and pundits alike will be eagerly anticipating another masterclass from one of football’s greatest ever players.
