Carrie Underwood has once again graced the red carpet at the 2023 CMT Music Awards held at Austin, Texas’ Moody Center in a bedazzled two-piece outfit, stealing the spotlight among other stunning celebrities. The country music star is not only one of the performers at the show but also a nominee for two awards – Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year. If she wins both awards, she will break her own record of holding the most CMT wins with 25 and have 27 under her belt.
Underwood’s appearance was highly anticipated by her fans, and she did not disappoint. She shone in a silver rhinestone-covered ensemble with a cropped coat featuring an epic train and dazzling shorts that highlighted her toned legs. She styled her long blonde locks in a low ponytail and accessorized with diamond earrings and glitzy jewels on her fingers.
Underwood has won video of the year twice before at CMT Music Awards, with “Good Girl” in 2012 and “Blown Away” in 2013. This year, she is nominated for “Hate My Heart” as well as female video of the year for “Ghost Story.”

Her stylist, Emma Trask, worked hard to create over 20 different looks over two months as part of Underwood’s REFLECTION show in Las Vegas, which features costumes that are full of sparkles and pizzazz.

Blake Shelton, a fellow Video of the Year nominee along with Underwood, explained that the CMT Music Awards mean more to him than other awards shows because the winners are chosen by fans.
