Creed III Actor Jonathan Majors’ Girlfriend Admits Fault, Will Not Press Charges

Creed III actor Jonathan Majors has been at the center of controversy after his arrest for allegedly hitting and choking his girlfriend in a domestic dispute in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. However, in a twist of events, his girlfriend has publicly admitted to being at fault and expressed her love for him by promising to do everything she can to help him avoid charges or problems in court.

Chaudhry strongly denies any wrongdoing by her client and has presented evidence to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office to clear her name. This includes video footage, witness testimony, and two written statements from the woman recanting the allegations.

Despite Majors maintaining his innocence, the U.S. Army has pulled its TV ad campaign featuring the actor after news of the alleged domestic dispute emerged. Allegations Recanted in Text Messages

Recently released text messages allegedly sent by the woman accusing Majors of assault detail a different account of events. According to the screenshot provided to TMZ, the woman identifies Majors as her “partner” and tells him that officers “had to” arrest him according to protocol because they “saw the injuries” on her and knew they “had a fight.”

Majors was charged with several counts of misdemeanor assault and harassment after being arrested on March 25, 2021. The woman allegedly sent the texts immediately after she got out of the hospital, and in a conversation with Majors, she explicitly stated that he was not responsible for the injuries.

Court Date Pending

Majors is scheduled to appear in court on May 8th, 2021. His lawyer has issued a statement claiming his innocence and that he was “provably the victim of an altercation” with the woman he knows.

The case remains ongoing, and it is unclear whether charges will be pressed against Majors. However, the revelations made by his girlfriend may work in his favor, pointing to a possible resolution in the near future.
