German Twitch Streamer wudijo Overcomes Diablo IV’s World Boss Alone on the Hardest Difficulty

German Twitch and YouTube streamer wudijo, who is known for his playthroughs and guides on various action-RPGs, has accomplished a remarkable feat in the upcoming game Diablo IV. He defeated the game’s first world boss, Ashava the Pestilent, alone on World Tier 2 with Hardcore Mode active. This would have restarted his Rogue character class all over again if he died just once.

The Epic Battle

Wudijo’s heroics were on full display when he battled Ashava in just 15 intense minutes. Even with almost all of his gear being Legendary, including a crossbow that deals 457 damage and two bladed weapons that deal about 200 damage each, it was still a taxing fight. He dodged the dragon’s attacks and methodically whittled her health down with arrows, even as she switched up her moves to become more aggressive.

A Slight Interruption

According to reports, a random Necromancer did show up to get a couple of hits in on Ashava’s last two percent of health. However, wudijo considered this as “ruining” his momentous solo kill.

The Enormous Map

The map size and scope in Diablo IV are also significant highlights of the highly anticipated game. The initial snowy, mountainous zone in the beta version of Diablo IV is a significant upgrade from past games and is full of interesting things to discover, including side quests, world bosses, and dungeons.

The current Diablo IV map is estimated to have five total zones of varying sizes and is enormous. What’s impressive is what there is to explore and how it uses verticality to mix things up. The map does not include all the unseen areas in the game such as procedurally generated dungeons and story missions. The full Diablo IV map is anticipated to have more diverse zones and enemies compared to the beta version.

Preview of the Open Beta

Gamers’ interest in the game heightened even more after Blizzard announced that players could preview the battle against Lilith’s minions in Diablo IV during two open beta weekends in March. The second open beta weekend will be free to access for all players on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, starting from March 24-27.

Blizzard has warned that players should expect “lengthy queue times,” particularly on the first day of the open beta launching. However, once players are inside the game, they will have access to the prologue and the entirety of the first act in a region called Fractured Peaks, as well as a World Boss available to take on at “select times” during both weekends.

Coop Options

There will be two options for coop during the open beta weekends: two-player couch co-op or four-player online co-op. Characters will be limited to three of the full game’s five classes, Barbarian, Rogue, and Sorcerer, and are capped at Level 25. The final two classes, Druid and Necromancer, will open up during the open beta weekends.

Open Beta Rewards

Players who participate in the open beta weekends will also have three rewards that they can carry over when the full game launches on June 6th.

As we go into March and look forward to being able to play Diablo IV early via its free open beta weekends shortly beforehand that will give us some incredible insights into this epic new action-RPG game.
