Kelsea Ballerini co-hosted the show and honored victims of a school shooting in Nashville. Ballerini also performed with drag artists in response to legal limitations on drag shows in Tennessee. She was dressed in Dolce & Gabbana for her red carpet debut with Chase Stokes before hosting the show.

Lainey Wilson donned a colorful jumpsuit, and Megan Thee Stallion sported a navy blue custom gown. Twain changed into a purple ensemble to accept the CMT Equal Play Award from Megan Thee Stallion.
