PlayStation is providing great value to its subscribers by releasing a new lineup of free games for April 2023. This month’s selection includes three games, with one of the most eagerly anticipated being Meet Your Maker, an online multiplayer game that tasks players with building and raiding fortresses. The other two games in the lineup are Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Tails of Iron.
Meet Your Maker Launches Next Week
This post-apocalyptic first-person building-and-raiding game will launch on April 4th for both consoles and PC platforms. The game is available at no additional cost for PlayStation Plus subscribers, making it an excellent opportunity for members to try out something new. Players can design each level and create their own outpost, inviting friends to try and get past their maze.
Behaviour Interactive’s Post-Release Support Plan
Behaviour Interactive has a post-release support plan for Meet Your Maker that is similar to their plan for Dead by Daylight. They have announced that they are adding a new Deco Pack just a couple of weeks after the game’s release. In addition, they will also introduce a brand new set of Mods and Augments that will expand the creative potential of the game.
Major Expansion Dreadshore Coming in June 2023
Behaviour Interactive has announced that a major expansion called Dreadshore will be released in June 2023. The expansion will introduce a new environment and Deco Pack with a new set of building blocks, as well as new weapons, tools, traps, and enemies with unique mods and perks. Despite the longtail support, the game will be complete at launch.
Natural Gameplay With Free Content Updates
Natural gameplay in Meet Your Maker will allow players to unlock most of the new content for free through progression without the need for microtransactions. Play as much as you like and have fun without worrying about being stuck or bored.
Limited Cosmetics Collection Available
Players can purchase a limited cosmetics collection for the game through Sony’s storefront. Although these items will not impact gameplay, they can add to the personalization of the player’s experience.
PlayStation Plus Members Get Three New Titles
In addition to Meet Your Maker, April’s PS Plus lineup includes Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Tails of Iron. All three games have a PS5 and PS4 version available. Sackboy is a spinoff of the Little Big Planet series and is a great platforming adventure with an incredible soundtrack that can be played on either PlayStation platform. Tails of Iron is a challenging sidescrolling RPG with storybook graphics featuring melee combat.
