Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas may have a 10-year age gap, but that didn’t stop them from falling in love. In a recent podcast episode, the actress revealed that Nick had reached out to her in 2016 via Twitter. However, at that time, she was hesitant about getting involved with someone so much younger. She had just ended a long-term relationship and wanted to settle down.
Fast forward to May 2018, when Nick and Priyanka attended the Met Gala together after meeting at an Oscars afterparty. They went on their first date soon after, and things quickly became serious between them. Priyanka shared her initial hesitation in dating Nick due to their age difference but eventually decided to take a chance on love.
Priyanka also opened up about her past relationships and how they impacted her view on dating. She acknowledged that she had a pattern of feeling gaslit in previous relationships, which made her hesitant about getting involved again. However, with Nick, things were different.
Despite Priyanka being in a tumultuous relationship initially, Nick’s brother and some mutual friends encouraged them to be together. Eventually, Priyanka put aside her reservations and began a romance with Nick.
In January 2022, Nick and Priyanka welcomed their daughter Malti Marie after wanting to be parents for some time. However, Malti spent over 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit before coming home just in time for Mother’s Day.
Priyanka shared that becoming a parent has been an incredible experience for both herself and Nick. As they journey into parenthood together, they are excited about this new chapter in their lives.
Overall, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas’ relationship has not been without its struggles. However, they have persevered and come out stronger together. With their new daughter, they are starting a new chapter in their lives as a family.
