Scheana Shay, a reality TV star of “Vanderpump Rules,” had her day in court on Monday to prove that Raquel Leviss lied about their alleged physical altercation. This hearing comes after Leviss requested a temporary restraining order, claiming that Shay punched her in the face after learning about her affair with Tom Sandoval, Shay’s best friend’s ex.
Shay arrived at the courthouse accompanied by her legal team and husband, Brock Davies. She appeared straight-faced and confident as she left after Leviss’ request to drop the restraining order was revealed. Shay was dressed in a black crew neck shirt, burnt orange blazer, and matching slacks, accessorized with heeled black boots, diamond hoop earrings, black sunglasses, and long gold-painted nails.
Leviss was not present at the hearing as she decided not to pursue the permanent restraining order against Shay. Her representative argued that they had notified Shay’s legal team that they were dropping the request during the reunion taping last Thursday. However, Shay’s lawyer claimed that Leviss realized she would lose in court and decided not to show up.
At the center of the case were allegations that Shay hit Leviss and bruised her eye on March 1. While acknowledging pushing Leviss when she grabbed her wrist, Shay’s lawyer denied hitting her. “It’s unfortunate that it came to this point,” Neama Rahmani said outside court. Nevertheless, Shay will continue to defend herself vigorously as she believes that Leviss’ allegations are entirely false.
The violent altercation took place when Shay learned about Leviss’ affair with Sandoval, whose girlfriend was Shay’s best friend for nearly ten years. The drama surrounding Sandoval, Leviss, and Ariana Madix (Sandoval’s ex-girlfriend) unravelled after Madix discovered a sexually explicit video of Leviss on Sandoval’s phone. Both Leviss and Sandoval have publicly apologized for their actions, but Madix has not responded to their apologies.
The temporary restraining order led to Shay and Leviss having to film the highly anticipated Season 10 reunion separately. The cast of “Vanderpump Rules” had to alternate Shay and Leviss in their seating chart during the reunion due to the restraining order. Although Leviss attempted to drop the restraining order, it is not clear whether this will impact filming or airing of the show’s upcoming season.
Moving away from Shay and Leviss’ drama, Love Is Blind alumna Natalie Lee has spilled some insider secrets and observations on one of this year’s contestants. In her new podcast discussing Love Is Blind Season 4 with co-star Deepti Vempati, Lee takes aim at Micah Lussier.
Lee claims that Lussier is manipulative and is trying to ‘win’ and move on for more screen time. She admits that many contestants in Love Is Blind experiment try to partner up and make it to the next round to get more screen time. Lee alleges that Lussier is not genuine and has insider knowledge of that.
Lee also claims that Paul, Lussier’s fiancé, is not genuine either. She doesn’t have high hopes for them as a couple and claims that they might continue as friends only for screen time.
Vempati speaks about Lussier’s controversial friendship with Irina Solomonova and notes that they did ruffle some feathers with other women in the lounge.
Lussier had a connection with both Paul and Kwame Appiah in the pods on the show. She rejected Kwame in favor of Paul, and the two still had some chemistry in Mexico, despite each being engaged to another person. Lussier claimed that she never intended to pursue Kwame outside of the pods.
In conclusion, Shay’s court appearance may mark an end to her feud with Leviss. Still, it is unclear what the future holds for them on “Vanderpump Rules.” As for Love Is Blind, Lee’s insider intel on Lussier has certainly stirred some controversy and excitement among fans.
