Liverpool U18s displayed their strength and resilience against Leeds United U18s, securing a 4-0 win at the Academy on Friday night under floodlights. The young Reds are in fifth place in the U18 Premier League North, with three games left to play. The victory marks their third consecutive win in the league and the second successive clean sheet.

Jayden Danns Impresses with Two Goals and an Assist

Jayden Danns played a pivotal role for Liverpool U18s in their latest win, scoring two goals and assisting one. In the fourth minute, Liverpool were awarded a penalty when Ranel Young was brought down by Leeds United’s goalkeeper. Danns stepped up and converted it, putting the young Reds ahead early on. In stoppage time, he scored a header that sealed the deal for Liverpool.

Danns’ impressive close control set up substitute Lewis Koumas’ goal. With his outstanding performance, Danns has become a standout player in the academy season, proving to be one of the most improved players this year.
