NXT continued to build momentum towards their upcoming two-night Stand & Deliver wrestling event on March 30th with an electrifying evening that included several exciting matches and segments. Here we recap some of the top moments from the show.
Roxanne Perez made her way to the WWE Performance Center, hoping to convince Shawn Michaels to allow her to defend the title she never lost. She recounted how she was robbed of the NXT Women’s Championship due to an injury caused by Dakota Kai. Michaels eventually granted her wish, allowing Perez to defend her title at Stand & Deliver against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
In one of the more exciting matches, Elektra Lopez squared off against Valentina Feroz. Feroz put up a good fight early on but it was Lopez who ultimately prevailed, defeating Feroz with a Thunder Driver for the three-count.
Eddy Thorpe, formerly known as Karl Fredericks, made his much-anticipated NXT debut in a match against Myles Borne. Thorpe proved why he’s such a formidable wrestler by putting on an impressive display of athleticism and strength. It wasn’t long before he pinned Borne down for the win with a German suplex.
As the two teams make their way into NXT’s first-ever 2-Night Event, Pretty Deadly promoted the Johnny Gargano versus Grayson Waller match at Stand & Deliver. The tag team champions are confident that they can take on anyone who comes their way and retain their titles.
The tag team champions Gallus will defend their titles against Imperium, MSK, and Grizzled Young Veterans in a Fatal 4-way match at Stand & Deliver. It’s sure to be a high-octane matchup with all four teams eager to claim the championship belts.
Indi Hartwell punched her ticket to the NXT Women’s Championship ladder match with a win over Sol Ruca and Ivy Nile in a Last Chance Triple Threat Qualifying Match. Hartwell can finally make her dream of becoming a champion come true.
Six women have been selected to compete in the upcoming NXT Women’s Championship Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver. The participants are Indi Hartwell, Zoey Stark, Gigi Dolin, Lyra Valkyrie, Tiffany Stratton, and NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. The event promises to be one of the most exciting women’s wrestling matches ever.
After promoting Johnny Gargano vs Grayson Waller’s collision last night on NXT, Pretty Deadly took time to promote the women’s championship ladder match next week. They’re aware that Roxanne Perez would go up against five hungry contenders for her crown.
Overall, last night’s episodes had some fantastic matchups and exciting moments that kept audiences on the edge of their seats in anticipation of NXT’s Stand And Deliver event.
