Arrival of Western-made Heavy Tanks in Ukraine
The Ukrainian military is gearing up for a major offensive against Russian forces expected to take place in the spring. To bolster their efforts, several NATO member states have announced plans to supply Ukraine with heavy tanks and other advanced weaponry. The Challenger 2 is much better protected than their previous T80BV tanks and shoots farther and more accurately than a T80 can do with its own gun. The air assault troops in Ukraine are considered elite and trained and equipped for major combat, making them the best brigades to lead the attack.
