A police team chased his car, but he managed to escape and abandoned the vehicle near a gurdwara in Marnaiyan Kalan village. Singh and his associates disappeared after crossing the wall of the gurdwara.

Punjab Government Closes in on Amritpal Singh

The Punjab government has told the high court that they are close to catching Amritpal Singh after failing to locate him despite having 80,000 police personnel. The court had questioned the government’s intelligence failure in failing to apprehend him.
